I don’t think there’s one right way to photograph a horse.

Sometimes it’s about the power and movement.
Sometimes it’s the tiny details you’d almost miss.
Sometimes it’s the relationship between horse and human.
And sometimes, it’s simply about capturing a horse exactly as they are.

After years of photographing horses in so many different settings, I’ve learned that the best images aren’t always the most perfect ones.

They’re the ones that make you stop and feel something.

That’s what I’m always looking for. 🤎

I love creating images that feel like they belong to a scene from a film. A little dramatic. A little dreamy. And full of emotion. 🤍

If you ask me for my favourite place to photograph horses…

The beach will always be near the top of the list. 🌊🤍

There's something magical about it. The endless horizon, the sound of the waves, the wind through their mane, and the freedom horses seem to feel the moment their hooves touch the sand.

Some of my favourite memories have been made on beaches like this, watching horses run, roll in the sand, and simply enjoy the moment.

Every beach session feels different, but they all have one thing in common: they never get old.

If you could choose one location for a photoshoot with your horse, where would it be?

Looking back, this is still one of my favourite sessions. 🤍

It's probably the furthest I ever travelled in Belgium for a photoshoot, and I would do it all over again.

It was also my very first time photographing in the heather. I remember arriving and instantly falling in love with those endless purple colours. It felt like stepping into a painting.

Between the golden sunset, the beautiful horse, and the trust we built during the session, everything just came together.

Some photos never lose their magic… and these are definitely some of mine. ✨

I almost forgot these photos existed.

While going through old edits, I decided to try something I'd never really done before... black and white.

Honestly? I didn't expect to love them this much.

Somehow, stripping away the colour made the emotion, the power, and every little detail stand out even more. And after giving them a fresh edit, these images turned out so much better than I ever imagined.

Sometimes an old gallery just needs a new perspective. 🖤

I first met this beautiful family at an event, back when there were still four of them. 🤍

After a lot of messages trying to find the perfect date, we finally made this photoshoot happen.

It was everything I had hoped for… except one thing.

Honey couldn't be there anymore.

That made this session a little bittersweet, but it also made it even more meaningful. Because photographs become priceless when they're all we have left of the moments we shared.
