Day 30 of 30 days of posting every day.
We made it. 🙌🏾
Thirty days ago, I challenged myself to show up every single day and share my work. Some days I had the caption ready, other days I was posting with only a few minutes to spare. 😂 But I did it.
This challenge reminded me just how much I’ve been blessed to experience through photography. From growing up in Vancouver, to living in Australia, and now calling Abu Dhabi home, my camera has taken me places I never imagined.
Sports photography has become such a huge part of my journey. Being able to photograph the NBA, the BC Lions, NCAA programs, Rugby 7s, and athletes from around the world has been an incredible privilege. But what I love most is that my work doesn’t stop there.
One day I’m photographing an NBA legend. The next it’s an engagement, a graduation, a family, a maternity session, or a corporate event. Every person has a story, and I love being the one who gets to tell it through my lens.
As a female photographer in the sports industry, I know there aren’t many of us. That makes every opportunity even more meaningful, and it pushes me to keep learning, improving, and creating work I’m proud of.
To everyone who has liked, commented, shared, reposted, and followed along over these last 30 days... thank you. Your support means more than you know.
The challenge might be over, but this is just the beginning. There are still so many stories to tell, people to meet, places to travel, and moments to capture.
So here’s to the next chapter.
