Some people relax in cafés. I relax by painting walls. Apparently that’s my version of selfcare.
In 2023, after bingewatching what felt like every DIY video on YouTube( thank you ), I decided to renovate this beautiful apartment and turn it into my studio.
The big things (floors + plumbing) were done by professionals and I took on the rest. Endless evenings, days, weekends I painted doors, frames, walls, testing colors, adding wallpaper (actually my Mom did all the wallpapering) and slowly shaping the space while listening to audiobooks, podcasts and Taylor Swift.
Somehow it turned into this calm, minimal, lightfilled studio where you can come in, get your makeup done, breathe for a minute, and create beautiful branding photos without feeling rushed.
It took a lot of paint… and a lot of patience. But I loved every minute of it.
Anyway — this is the before & after. What do you think? I also added some sample images of shoots I did in the newly renovated the studio for you ❤️

One more day of ❄️ winter! Absolutely magical. Our coffee date early morning at the Cafe Gloriette had been in the calender for weeks but the snow was an added bonus!
