तिहार मनाउने हाम्रो मौलिक सांस्कृतिक परम्पराले प्रकृति¸ मानव जीवन र प्राणी जगत्‌को अन्योन्याश्रित सम्बन्धलाई उजागर गर्नुका साथै दिदीबहिनी तथा दाजुभाइ बीचको आपसी स्नेहलाई गाढा बनाउँदछ। यम पञ्चक समेत भनिने तिहार पर्वमा काग‚ कुकुर‚ गाई‚ गोरू लगायत पशुपंक्षीका साथै धन र ऐश्‍वर्यकी देवी लक्ष्मीको पूजा र दिदीबहिनी द्वारा भाइको पूजा गरिनुका साथै देउसी–भैलो खेल्दै नाचगान र मनोरञ्जन गर्ने परम्परा रहेको छ ।दिपावलीको माध्यमबाट प्रकट हुने उज्यालो प्रकाशले हामी सबैलाई सत्य र न्यायको मार्गमा अग्रसर रहन पथ प्रदर्शन गर्न सकोस् ।
