Hi there, I'm Simone, the owner and creative director at Imagine Photography by Simone. Welcome to my page. Allow me to share a bit about myself.

Eighteen years ago, after giving birth to my third son, I discovered my passion for photography. My children became my inspiration, and I wanted to capture every moment as they grew. Every milestone has been proudly documented and cherished until this day.

I am the heart and soul of my business, and my top priority is to ensure that you feel comfortable, relaxed, and happy during your photoshoot. I specialise in natural light photography for self-portraits and family shots, preserving those precious memories to be cherished and shared for years to come.

Equally important is creating those standout images for your business, branding, website, and social media. I aim to capture the essence and personality that will appeal to your audience.

For those of you that have been following this (still very early stages) journey of Imagine Brand Photography, I want to share with you the photoshoots Iā€™ve been doing these past 3 months in preparation for my ā€œofficialā€ launch early next year šŸŽ‰

Because, yes. There will be a new website, there might be confetti, and there will definitely be champagneā€¦ but for now, I want to show you my shiny new gallery of work - as Iā€™m too excited to keep these beautiful images all to myself any longer!

I've had the pleasure of working with 5 incredible business owners so far, taking photos for their branding, projects, workplaces, and social media.

Megan doesnā€™t know this, but I was a super fan before we even met. Imagine thisā€¦. Name in highlights ā€“ ā€œMEGAN PILKINGTONā€ Make-up and Brow specialist. Well, thatā€™s how I felt. I had seen this beautiful ladyā€™s work from being in a similar industry myself and I knew sheā€™s amazing.

Fast forward a few years and we actually got to know each other in a program called Sacred & Seen, coached by .bavistock and . It was MAGIC āœØ

Megan IS Soul and Grace. Not only is she the best Make-up and Brow artist in town, sheā€™s also a Reiki master. Megan has created the most gorgeous studio space in Hilton, SA called where she waves her magic and has two other ladies in business supporting her dream at Soul and Grace.

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Megan in her stunning studio. Congratulations on creating such a beautiful space ā¤ļøā¤ļø Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be your photographer at Soul and Grace

It was love at first sight, and I was only young ā€“ maybe 8 at the time.

The way the paper felt, the smell, the monochrome tones that were so very carefully developed in ā€œthe labā€ along with the Polaroids and cheap camera colour shots that had the 70s written ALL over them.

The intricate detail and stories behind themā€¦ I was so intrigued. What was happening at this moment in time and who took the photo? The nostalgia and sentiment had my imagination swirling with tales of what could have been.

At 17, my creative career steered me towards a hairdressing apprenticeship which I completed and then went on to study Studio and Television Makeup Artistry.

At 20, I began working and competing as a hair and makeup artist, won awards, and soon became the favourite with photographers, art exhibitions, wedding couture fashion shows, and my work frequently featured in the fashion pages. Things were ticking along rapidly.

Fast forward to 2005, I was single with 3 kids, and felt the pull to photograph, learn and grow my love of photography. My camera was calling and there was soooo much to capture.

In the years that followed, I was a devoted photo magician of my children, as well as professional photographer for others - portrait, birth, newborn, events, businesses, and weddings.

I still look back at those photos and my heart explodes with the joy of the memories. I know how much those photos mean to all the beautiful people I had the privilege of recording their special moments in time.

And now, in 2021, with much excitement and all my experience, I am thrilled to be launching my third photography business.

So, allow me to introduce you to ā€“ Imagine Brand Photography.

Thereā€™s so much to tell you about this new venture, but for now all you need to know is that I am a photographer for people in business.

My talent is making you look and feel naturally beautiful and powerful, in the most creative ways.

Letā€™s just say Iā€™m NOT your stock standard head shot photographer!

And Iā€™m so happy to start sharing the Imagine magic here with you.
