Throwback to 2023! Scrolling through old photos and I can’t believe I hadn’t shared this. We had an awesome time displaying at as a family. The kids even won 2nd place for their bakery build. So proud 😄

I also had a chance to show some and the book. Good times.

Always good to see interstate people to come over for it and see them IRL 😄 My youngest was adamant about becoming best friends with . It was a pleasure to see in person and see sneak in for a photo shoot.

If you’re in , it’s back on again - 5-6 July. I’m sure it’ll be awesome as always.

I really got into taking photos out in public places. Having people in the background and recognisable locations have the photos a sense of whimsy.

I often tested ideas at home first and then took on the challenge of recreating them quickly in my lunch break.

“Hand me down the shark repellent Bat Spray”

Going through some older photos for and found a bunch of behind the scenes content that may be helpful if you’re starting out with .

This goes back to 2015. I was testing out the use of an iPad mini for backdrops and I had a makeshift light box.

The sea floor is brown paper and I used a small hand mirror (red object) to bounce the light back up.

Taking two photos and editing them together made it easier to remove the props.

I thought the result was pretty decent and made it easy to shoot photos without needing too much space. What do you think?
