It's been a while since i've updating the page with whats been going on, so here goes.

CASA Licensed Operator (ReOC) , Licensed Remote Pilot (RePL) 25kg rating, Licensed Aeronautical Radio Operator (AROC).

(March 2021)
After been assessed and tested my RePL Licence has now been upgraded from 7kg to 25kg

(May 2021)
I've just been approved by CASA to participate in the 6 month 'Automated Airspace Authorisation trial' being conducted around Perth, Adelaide & Canberra Airports. Hoping that this will eventually lead to a new fully streamlined & automated system implemented for RPAS Operators to easily gain approval for flying drones in proximity to controlled airports.

Safety Fly's CASA 'Remotely Piloted Aircraft Operators Certificate' (RPA Operator's Certificate or ReOC) that's initially only awarded for 12 months before review for Air Safety, compliance etc:, has today completed their 12 month audit and review. All Licensed Remote Pilot's (RePL's) operating under this certificate have been poked and probed by CASA and now I can happily announce that Safety Fly has been approved to fly in the Australian skies for another 3 years.
