Our photography group were very fortunate to get an unrestricted tour of the beautiful Capri Theatre, in Goodwood last night, by Ross, who has been an active volunteer for half a century!

The theatre is an independent, not-for-profit 'picture theatre', run by a network of generous volunteers. It was built in 1941 and is Heritage listed, plus it houses possibly the most beautiful theatre pipe organ in the world.

Worth catching a film here if you're ever in the area.

Back in the old hometown for a week, minding dogs and catching up with some old friends....
Went down to the wetlands and started searching for birds this arvo. It was very slim pickings and headed back to the car, without success, apart from a couple of pelicans.
Amazingly, when I got back to the carpark, both a male and female wren were having a great old time looking for free bugs, so out came the camera again!

Thought I'd have a crack at some 'Birds In Flight' Photography, so enrolled in a half day workshop yesterday, put on by the South Australian Photographic Federation (SAPF).

2hrs of theory followed by an hour or two of shooting. Thanks to Bill from https://www.wshieldsphotography.com/ who makes it look so easy!

Although we didn't have too many bird varieties, I did get a few "bin chickens' (White Ibis) in flight, that I was happy with.

Bill's motto of practice, practice, practice is still ringing in my ears...
