This has long been a passion project of mine, to showcase and capture the amazing Christmas at Nine Mile. Lights Display setup by Bernadette and John, and share it with others. And I've finally made it a reality.
Light displays like this are difficult to capture in all their glory without proper dedicated cameras and proper exposure, so I put my Sony FX30 to work (Alongside a borrowed A7iv). Phone cameras are good, but are limited due to their small sensors. I also have a short interview in the works too, so keep an eye out for that!
I've had the privilege of seeing this display grow and evolve over the years, and while the effort and dedication behind it can never truly be appreciated, it is still a wonder to behold and absolutely worth seeing in person. I'm sure it'll be back in 2026!
Again, a huge congratulations (And thank you!) to Bernadette and John on another amazing Christmas Lights display! I hope this video serves as a fond memory of everything you've achieved.
