There’s something so beautiful about watching a dad become a dad all over again. This time with a new little one soon joining the adventure✨

From tiny hands held by the ocean to those quiet moments in between, these are the memories that deserve to be remembered

Because one day the boats will look a little smaller, the little hands will be a little bigger, and this beautiful chapter of welcoming their second baby will be a story they can look back on together

The siblings, cousins, partners, and little ones running around your feet.

Life has a funny way of making these moments harder and harder to come by. Children grow, families move, schedules get busy, and before we know it, years have passed since everyone was together like this

That’s why I believe extended family photos are about so much more than getting everyone to look at the camera

They’re about documenting who was here.
The people who made your family what it is.
The hugs, the laughter, the chaos, the little hands being held and the people you never want to forget

Some photographs become priceless with time🤍

We watch our children grow and wish we could pause time, just for a little while longer

But sometimes we forget that our parents and grandparents are growing older too

The hands that once held ours, the stories we’ve heard a hundred times, the familiar smiles and the people who have been there through so many chapters of our lives. One day, these are the things we’ll wish we could hold onto

When someone we love is no longer here, one of the first things we reach for is a photograph

We hold it a little closer.
We study their face.
We remember their voice, their laugh, the way they looked at us.

A photograph can’t stop time, but it can give us somewhere to return to

From their engagement session to their wedding day… what a beautiful journey it has been🤍✨

I first had the pleasure of capturing Lydia & Lachlan’s love story during their engagement session, never knowing just how special it would feel to eventually be there for the next chapter.

And then, months later, I got to watch it all unfold.

From the quiet moments of getting ready, the excitement of their first look, the anticipation before the ceremony, the happy tears, the laughter, the family portraits and every little moment in between

And honestly, these are the clients who remind me why I love what I do

Because somewhere along the way, clients become more than just clients. They become familiar faces, people you genuinely care about, and eventually… friends🤍
