A trip down the South Coast this weekend. Going through coastal bushland looking for Ghost Fungi. These have been growing around old dead banksia trees.

Baz and I are awake and ready early this Sunday morning to receive the public.

Some highlights from the Airshow today in Shellharbour NSW 16/05/2026. This is day 1 of our 2 day display here. I am assisting Barry Armstead at this event packing, unpacking setting up, interacting with the public then packing up then going home. Hard work but lots of fun. Also, Scott and his wife Tammy have there Viper beside us. A lovely couple to meet :)

Ghost fungi imaged 09/05/2026 at the South Coast NSW.
After a little hike around a peninsula I found these tucked away. This time of year they can be found amongst coastal Banksia trees and around dead stumps.

After a good drive around dirt roads I spotted this motherlode of Ghost Fungi (near Canberra)
Exposures were 3 minutes each.
