One of my favourite parts of shooting this family is getting this gorgeous creature on her own... every woman deserves to keep a part of herself unchanged even as everything changes when you become a mother. I didn't know her before she gave life to her girls but I see her. 💞

How I love watching theirs grow! So delighted to be part of their tradition - this is the 3rd time I've captured a moment of their story together and these gorgeous girls are growing up before my eyes. I love hanging out with them and discovering new things as their knowledge of the world expands. Beautiful day, beautiful location, beautiful people!

It's been awhile since I've gone all out and charged the camera but when my teenager comes to me and asks if I'll organise a photo shoot as a farewell for her beloved friend.... well, what choice do I have? She is so blessed to have been part of a group of quick witted, genuinely engaged with life and tightly bonded girls who are really going to miss their fifth wheel. Oh, and it doesn't hurt that they're all as gorgeous on the outside as they are on the inside! I almost had as much fun as they did!

I haven't even looked through the great number of photos from the Year 12 Formal but already I know, THIS one, is my favourite. Epitomises everything that is the beauty of youth; joy, freedom and future promise.
