Every now and then, the entertainment *Is* the fun. Such as Pixel bar & cafe's Rockband Nights. They don't Rockband often, but when they do, there's Smoke, Lazers, and all!

Definitely a great event night, that I'd highly recommend attending. Rumour has it there might be another one soon.

We don't rockband often, but when we do there's smoke and lazers! And it's always an amazing night.
Thanks for the awesome Photos Locky / Down The Lens Photography!

First thing in the morning is a surprisingly good time to work through photos. Granted, I was looking for something in particular, but came across this panorama I shot from up Eureka Tower while I was at it.

So Enjoy!

The full album for the group photo of the other day.

A special occasion worth dressing up for. For it was Odin's Birthday, and a BBQ was the festivities. Additionally Triple Kill were filming for a new music video. Eagle eyes might have spotted them in the group photo I shared in advance the other day. I was invited by one of the organisers, because everyone loves photos, right?

As usual, Larpers definitely lend themselves well to the camera, especially when in combat. It was a little bit of a struggle to cut down the numbers to a reasonable amount to post. You don't want to know how many photos were actually taken.

With any of the photos, if you want a higher res copy, send me a message and we'll work something out. Also if you think you were in a photo I haven't posted, i can try to find it for you.

It's not every day you get to celebrate a dog's 10th Birthday, Witness scenes of a band's music video get filmed, and take photos of people armoured up and fighting.

A proper album to come, before a return to some more Landscapes, some portraiture done yesterday, and photos from a convention.

Dragon's Head Rock and I have a wonderful relationship. I love taking photos of it, it loves making sure something to do with my camera ends up not going to plan. Such as the ND filters ending up soaked, or water damage to my camera, or sensor spots.

But Dawn was Amazing. So it's all good.

Taken after dawn and my photos of the Blood Moon.

*Milkyway, Meteorites, Moon, and Mars*

Pretty sure there were at least a half dozen shooting stars I witnessed last night. And probably more I missed. I broke out the fisheye when I got bored of the same telephoto zoom distance of the moon.

To the left is the Milkyway setting on the horizon, a Shooting Star in the middle, and off to the right glowing red we have the full eclipse Moon with Mars just above it.

It's been a few years since I last happened to be at a Swordcraft game, but a member of the Warband "The North" happened to convince me that I should come along and take photos. They sweetened the suggestion with the fact that it was a special occasion for them, and so people would have put more effort in.

I'm pretty sure they're all friendly, but I didn't end up with the chance to really talk to anyone this time around.

Feel free to tag yourselves, and I'd just ask that you credit if you do use the photos. And maybe say hi next time I come along. Also many thanks to Of Science And Swords for the loan of a Hi-Vis vest so I could go on field.

Photos from the Swordcraft game of the Final Friday of June. It also happened to be a special occasion for the Warband "The North", who a member of convinced me to come along for. That may explain why there's more photos of them than others this time around.

A while back, I posted a version of this photo. And then I went and got a test print of it. Since then I've gone through 3 separate test prints, and multiple restitchings of the panorama because there was always something feeling like a fault in the stitch.

Which leads us to this version. The 4th version to go to the photolab for a test print. This time around though I'm feeling like it might finally be there. Version 3 was pretty close after all.

Alrighty. It's Wednesday. And that means we need a bit of something to brighten the mood. Or at least quell the frustrations of the week.

Trentham Falls out near Daylesford might fit the bill I think.

The second point that the Aurora Australis acted up on the evening of the 31st August. At this point in the evening I'd wandered down to Dragon Rock after having realised that it was low tide. By the light of the full moon it was really well lit and I didn't even really need to use a torch I had along.

This is one I'm sending to the photolab to print out big. It should be gorgeous.
