2024 has been a bit of a journey in the Furbag household with some hound health issues. Things have been quiet here as photography has taken a back seat while our little Sausage has navigated life as a diabetic dog.
With all that aside, I'm so grateful to have these two aging doggos in my life and hope for a less eventful 2025.
Wishing you and all your furbabies a safe and happy Christmas and a magnificent new year.

My gorgeous new fur niece, Charlie. She is soft and sweet and feels like a plush toy. Apart from the puppy teeth that is.

It has been a good long while since I had a kitten photo shoot, so I though I'd use the experience to play around with the new tools that are on trend to learn what they are all about.
Gorgeous little Ruby was such a good subject.
I fed her image into Deep Dream Generator and came up with this little number.
The original (and arguably the best) Ruby and her sister are available for adoption through WA Pet Project.
I have really mixed feelings about the question of copyright and the images used to train AI so this is just me dipping my toe into the new tech.

Today I got to meet Molly. Molly has been with her Canine Welfare Australia carer for a little while now - and she is ready for a forever home to call her own.
I know you'll agree she is a beautiful dog.
She loves the water be that the beach of a paddling pool, likes a nice run at the park and lives for snuggles.

Meeting and photographing Kane yesterday was great fun. He is a real love bug and such a good boy. If you are looking for a handsome, loving doggo then check out Kane who is being looked after by the lovely folk at SABBR.

“Kane is another gorgeous example of a friendly, loving, people focused staffy. Experienced with the breed, Mark and family are helping this beautiful boy shine.

While Kane's new family may need to take into account his encounters with other dogs, he's going to be the perfect companion in the right home. Great treats, some tennis balls and the occasional squeaky toy to de-squeak and Kane will be in paradise. Big thanks to Mark for being a great helper in getting Kane's portraits.”
