Going through old photos, I took this one of Marc Hunter from Dragon at the Myer Music Bowl in around 1983. Songs like "April Sun in Cuba" and "Are you old enough" were some of my favourites. Marc died in July 1998 at age 44.

These are photos from a recent "RONE" : TIME exhibition.
His current exhibition in Melbourne is called "Time". Its an experience in where moments in time are depicted and you can walk through the displays and experience times gone by.
Artist "Rone" burst onto the Melbourne street art scene in the early 2000s. With his beginnings in street art, stencil and screen printing, Rone is now best known for haunting images of women's faces, rendered in arresting detail on silos and store fronts, museums and apartment blocks. He is one of my favorite artists.

I very much admire graffiti when it's done well, and I am amazed at the talent there is in our world. But my favorites are the works of Guido Van Helten who created the mural at Brim and "Rone who created the work at Lascelles plus many more throughout the world.
Here is a collection of the recent trip to the Silo Art Trail in North Western Victoria. This page will also feature great works of art from around Australia.
