Thanks, Mother Nature, for the free light show last night. 🌩️
Ducking out to see if I could catch some storm shots (without a rain cover — oops). Belmont Road heading to Mt Gravatt Lookout was windy and wet, and hubby and I decided a lookout probably wasn’t the best idea.
We headed to the Wynnum waterfront instead (not the whale park or jetty), and Mother Nature didn’t disappoint.
These were taken opposite the old fisherman’s market, across the road from the boat ramp, looking out toward the Port (mostly!). One image swings back toward the jetty — almost total darkness — then the next moment it was like daylight, all lightning above and behind us.
Love a good Queensland thunderstorm. ⚡

Some pics from my front yard 23rd November storms kicking off. - This is as far out front as I got (still inside the gate and ready to run should hail or anything else hit - gotta protect the camera first!) - Loads of people had so much damage to homes, cars, workplaces etc - this one was only the beginning of a wild and crazy week that was !! Apparently we get a week off this week with storms - fingers crossed.

This was Amazing !! If you haven't got to see this at Sirromet Winery whilst it's still here in Brisbane get your walking shoes on and book yourself a ticket!!- I cannot recommend this enough if you are a Harry Potter fan and even if you aren't a fan it's still worth seeing. This was my birthday present from my amazing hubby (he always comes up with the best gifts!! - although he will remind me he is my greatest present ever!! 🤣) - Enjoy the pics everyone

Thanks Perth and thanks girls and Moggy for all wanting to tag along to the one thing I've always wanted to do in the West. We got in an Optus Stadium Tour as well. It was all about the cricket and making lifetime memories. We did all that and some in just over a week !!!

July 2025 - It started with a Dance Party watching Under 22 Ladies and ended with a National Title for my beautiful Qld Under 16 Ladies.. The week was full on and we had fun along the way. We were there to play cricket and play cricket they did - especially when it counted on the last day in the Big Dance !! Super proud Mumager.

BrisBricks Chandler 2025 - once again you didn't disappoint. It's an amazing event for anyone big and small that loves Lego or doesn't even really know if it's their thing.
Do yourselves a favour and get along to an event sometime it wont disappoint and there is things for everyone to see and it's all so very very clever !! I still need instructions for anything I build!!

Here's something new for me - another sport to photograph - For the first time today I photographed Softball. While getting to watch my nephew play for South Australia - i must admit it was fun to have a go and since his mum or dad aren't here to watch him (due to work and other stuff) - Auntie happily stepped in.
I used to play a very very even very long time ago so this was a load of fun.
Good luck to the SA guys for the remainder of the week.
I also kept my mouth shut cos generally I'm screaming Go Qld at Nationals for Indoor Cricket but this time it's all GO SA !!!

When you get to meet your newest nephew and member of your extended family on boxing day.. This little man has had the roughest of starts in life with multiple open heart surgeries and a long road to go but still has the most beautiful light in his eyes.. You are so loved little man ❤️❤️❤️ - Always to the moon and back
