Sar Senkethya សរ សែនកិត្យា

Sar Senkethya, working as a software developer for more than 15 years. Have developed a strong photography hobby since 2007. I have been involved in many kinds of photography since then including macro, portrait and wildlife photography specifically in birds. I have decided to move completely into wildlife photography since 2012. Since then, I have traveled across Cambodia to see and photograph birds as my personal collection as well as to support awareness on wildlife education and conservation. I was also involved in a few conversional survey projects along the Cambodia coastal area. During the activity we created friends, friends from other parts of the world that we wouldn’t have met if not because of one common interest which is birds. We hope we could save them and provide them a safe living habitat and they continue their existence in this world. We believe everyone loves nature, but we just chose to show love in different ways. Some people choose to pet wild animals to show their love, care and interest, yet we choose to go to see them in the wild. Seeing them singing, jumping, flying, finding love, feeding and protecting their young is a mindblowing memory. We hope one day people will choose the way we choose the love for the wildlife, instead of bringing them into their home they go out there to see them at their home. Completing a photo collection of all the birds of Cambodia is one of my life dream goals.
