Looks like we are taking the cameras up for this today, should be good to see some local cars in action…. Definitely hoping to see all the hoons come out to play were they’re allowed too 😜 it’s only $50

🏁 SPRINGMOUNT RACEWAY PRESENTS: COME & TRY DRAGS 🏁

Never been down the track at Springmount Raceway? This is your chance to experience drag racing in a safe, controlled and completely pressure-free environment!

Come & Try Drags is designed especially for first-timers. Our experienced drivers and track crew will guide you through the entire process—from signing on and entering the staging lanes to making your first pass and collecting your time slip.

Need some extra confidence? An experienced driver can ride in the passenger seat with you, and you can also take a passenger ride in one of our street cars before getting behind the wheel yourself.

📅 5 September 12-3pm
💰 $50 per driver
⏱️ Three-hour on-track session
🚗 Registered cars and bikes only
🔁 Make as many passes as time allows
👥 Share your vehicle with your mates—each driver simply needs their own entry

This activity is only for people who have never raced at Springmount Raceway before.

SCHEDULE

• 10am — Gates open and sign-on begins
• 11.45am — Drivers briefing
• 12 noon — Start-line tutorial and demonstrations
• 12.15–3pm — On track

It’s going to be a busy weekend for the Cairns car community, with plenty happening over the next few days!

We’re kicking things off with our usual CSPC Friday night meet tonight!

Come down, grab a coffee, have a chat and check out what everyone’s been working on. There have been some pretty sick cars popping up lately, so hopefully we get another good turnout 👀

95% of everyone’s behaviour at our meets has been awesome lately and we really appreciate it. It makes these nights so much easier to keep running and enjoyable for everyone. 🫶

Bring the nice car, the s**tbox, or the daily you swear is “staying stock” 😂 Let’s start this packed weekend off right!

Got some friendly beef that needs settling, or just not game enough to risk breaking s**t off the line? 😂 Line them up and sort it out the legal way - no Facebook comment section required.

Cairns autoclub hosts Cairns very own Fast and Furious Anniversary Meetup at Cairns Central Shopping Centre, some say it was a huge success but other people are saying that 1 clown ruined it all

So before I roll out any more pictures this week It seems apparent that we need a reminder to….

FIT IN OR F* OFF!!!!

When you attend any Car Meets or Cruises in Cairns you are not the main character of your own private GTA lobby, this is a public server event and you will be kicked !!!!!

We DO NOT appreciate having our name written on the carparks of cairns like this, if you’re going to rev your ride please do it neutral only and keep it reasonable… Be the cool kid not the d***e bag that gets us all punished!!
