Nature never fails to surprise me. 🌅💜

Tonight's sunset put on an incredible show. It began with glowing oranges and yellows, then within just a few short minutes transformed into stunning shades of pink, purple and deep blue.

It's amazing how quickly the sky can change, reminding us to pause, look up, and enjoy the beauty that's right in front of us. Every sunset is different, and tonight's was one I'll remember.

Sometimes the oldest places tell the best stories... 🤎

Hidden away in Hinton sits this old hut, worn by time but still standing proudly. Every weathered timber and rusted sheet of iron is a reminder of the people who once lived and worked here.

I love photographing places like this because they preserve a small piece of Australia's rural history before they're gone forever.

Well, I did it! 📸🎉

Over the past 12 months, excluding 10 weeks of injuries, I've been a little quiet on social media, and for good reason—I was busy completing my Professional Photography Course.

It has been one of the most rewarding experiences, challenging me to step outside my comfort zone and helping me see the world through a whole new lens.

Looking back at where I started compared to where I am now, I'm so proud of how much my photography has grown.

But this is only the beginning. Photography is a journey of continuous learning, and I'm excited to keep developing my skills, exploring new techniques, and creating even better images.
One thing I've learnt is that you're never too old to chase a passion or learn something new. I certainly won't be letting my age hold me back!

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and followed my photography journey so far. DL Davidson Photography. I can't wait to share what comes next. The best is yet to come! 📷✨

There's something special about old jetties. They stand as a reminder of the stories they've witnessed over the years while continuing to frame the beauty of the coastline.

I captured this image at Catherine Hill Bay, where the dramatic clouds parted just enough for the sun's rays to light up the water. It was one of those moments that reminded me why I love landscape and heritage photography—being in the right place at the right time and appreciating the beauty that nature creates.

Every sunrise and sunset tells a different story. 🌅
