FAMILY SESSIONS ARE BACKā¤ļøā€šŸ”„

Um what?!?!!!!! You heard that right x

When I return from maternity leave, Iā€™ll be stepping back into family sessions for the rest of the year and onwards.

I just want to say a genuine thank you for your patience while I took some much needed time away from lifestyle sessions to focus on myself and weddings. It meant more than you know.

But Iā€™m ready now, ready to step back into it once Iā€™ve returned from maternity leave to document your families as they are, the chaos, the calm, the special moments that matter most in the beautiful golden hour here in Collie WA.

Iā€™m only offering outdoor family sessions on weekends right now. You will receive your full galleries and these sessions will be how theyā€™ve always been, focusing on connection through my story telling and documentary style.

I have a link in my bio with my availability where you can secure your session for the year. Once those spots are gone, theyā€™re gone. So BOOK NOW

As this season comes to a gentle pause, so do I.

From the 24th of April, Iā€™ll be stepping fully offline to welcome and soak in this next chapter, slow days, quiet moments, and time that wonā€™t come back again.

Iā€™ll be returning mid June, but until then, emails and messages will be left unopened and unanswered.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and for allowing me this space.

This 25/26 wedding season has been one Iā€™ll never forget. One Iā€™ll hold onto forever, one where Iā€™ll look back when Iā€™m 80 years old and tell my grandchildren these memories.

To all my beautiful amazing brides and grooms who trusted me, who believed in me. Thank you, I appreciate you all so much and everyone Iā€™ve met. This job is so special to me, I still count my lucky stars that I get to do this for a living. Creating beautiful memories for you all, I feel very privilegedšŸ„¹

Yesterday was officially my last wedding before our baby boy joins us. Iā€™m 36 weeks pregnant and itā€™s time to edit, nest & enjoy this final chapter before our next.

A quiet morning ceremony, surrounded by the people who matter most. Soft slow, present.

And thenā€¦ they left.

Drove out into the Swan Valley, chasing the day instead of trying to control it. A brewery here, a laugh there, hands intertwined between sips and sunlight.

Nothing forced. Nothing performative.

Just them.
Moving through their wedding day the way it felt right.

And somewhere in between it all,
the stillness and the motion met.
The blur of her dress, the way they leaned into each other without thinking, the kind of moments you donā€™t plan, you just feel.

This is what happens when you let go of what a wedding ā€œshouldā€ be.

It becomes yours.

I never will.Right after you walk back down that aisle, when itā€™s all just happened, when your hands are still shaking, ...

Right after you walk back down that aisle, when itā€™s all just happened, when your hands are still shaking, when the words havenā€™t even settled yet.

Thatā€™s when your people come in.

The hugs.
The tears.
The ā€œweā€™re so proud of you.ā€
The way your mum holds you just that little bit longer.
The way your friends squeeze you like theyā€™ve been holding it in all day.

That moment canā€™t be recreated.
You donā€™t get a second take of it.

Thatā€™s why I will always build in 15ā€“20 minutes just for this.

No rushing you off.
No pulling you away for photos.
No ā€œweā€™ll do it later.ā€

Because laterā€¦ itā€™s not the same.

The emotion softens.
The adrenaline fades.
And what was once raw becomes something quieter.

But this, this is the real, unfiltered, just married feeling.
This is your story being held by the people who matter most.

And as your photographer, I donā€™t just document how your day lookedā€¦
