This flame tree down at Litchfield is one of my most favourite trees I’ve seen. I’ve watched it yearly grow & bloom. Near Chrissy time each year it blossoms red & finally last year I captured it on my way home… I kindly asked permission from the sweetest property owner (& to her astonishment I was the first person in 39years to ask to enter the paddock.
Well, just last weekend we camped to the other side of the paddock to wake early up to a rare Darwin tropical fog….so I trampled through the grasses -wary of cold sleepy venomous snakes….& ✔️…. Photography bucket list🙏🏽🙌🏽

I’m feeling pretty saddened by that Hunter Valley wedding guest bus crash. So many of their friends lives lost tragically on a day that was meant to be their most cherished day to remember 😭😭😭
