A special post for Amorn. When she was in Darwin last year she loved the Agile Wallabies so every opportunity I get to take a decent photo of one or two I share with her. They certainly are cute. Photographed at Corroboree Waters Billabong.

Another quick sortie to Vestey's Lagoon this morning to chase Bee-eaters but they didn't want to play so had to make do with several other species. Such a productive little area. Several others yet to process. Interesting fact - the palms that are in flower at the moment Corpha utan (several names including cabbage palm, buri palm or gebang palm) that many birds are feeding on, have matured (50-80 years old) and once the flower is finished, the palm will die. Sulphur Crested Coackatoo, Lemon-bellied Flycatcher and Blue-faced Honeyeater.

Rainbow Bee-eaters. Can't get enough of these little beauties. So many around at the moment. When they pair up, they often sit as if one has its back to a mirror. Taken at Bundilla Beach, adjacent Vestey's Lagoon.
