At the start of the year I set about a project where I attempted to paint a new painting every day for 30 days.
How many days do you think I got through before realising it was an impossible task?

I switched up the concept to instead build a bit of consistency in my practice and it’s been amazing. I’m about half way through the 30 after a few side quests but will get there. They’re all available bar a couple that got snapped up straight away.

Commission for The Napier Hotel.

Just wrapped up this commission for the Napier Hotel, and this one’s a good reminder of what putting my work out into the world can do. They reached out to me after seeing the print I made for Quick Cuts Print Club (my snail mail) who get new prints sent straight to their letterbox every month, and asked if i could create a piece of their own for the pub walls No algorithm chasing, just someone who liked what they saw.

Multi-layered stencil work for a Melbourne institution, exactly the kind of commission I want more of.

If you want prints landing in YOUR letterbox check out the link in my bio to join or learn more about Quick Cuts Print Club.

More than 18 layers. Full colour. Nearly took me out.

This is “Welcome to Brunswick”, the abandoned milk bar on Blyth St, and a piece that’s the reason Hidden Layers exists as a concept at all.
I just didn’t know it when I was cutting it.

It’s not part of Quick Cuts. It’s not part of anything. It’s a one-off print of the most complex thing I’ve made and I’m finally sending it out into the wild as a limited, signed run.

You can sign up for drop updates, it’ll only be a small run, and once they’re gone I won’t be reprinting this one.

Comment BRUNSWICK and I’ll send you the link.

If you’ve ever wondered where the whole layered thinking thing started, it started here.

Share this with someone who you think would love it up in their home.

Forty minis, 10cm x 10cm, and they came from just wanting to see what would happen if I stripped everything back and worked SMALL for once.

Same layering, same intricacy, just squeezed into a footprint that fits in your hand, and priced in a way that makes them accessible but still accounts for being an original painting.

Sometimes branching out isn’t about doing something completely different, it’s about doing the thing you already do but changing the limitations on it to see what comes out the other side.

I’ve been quietly building a collection of Melbourne pubs. A lot of these will only be accessed by print club members, but I’m also starting to add limited, signed prints to my available work.

Welcome to Brunswick is my most complex painting, and I’ve decided to turn it into the first limited print release.

I’m opening a private list before they go on sale.
People on it will get first access, and if it sells out before release they’ll be the only ones to get it.

Comment “PRINT” and I’ll send you the link.
