Creative Kicks provided the audio production for the eBay Live stage at Oz Comicon. The brief was simple. Make it neat with loud clear audio to cut through the crowd noise, for the live auction streams across the 2 days of the event.

We handled the live PA and the stream for REKT We Are Social and Andpeople. Speaker hangs on the truss and even hidden behind the jumbotron screen kept it clean and the audio focused right where it needed to be. The boys ServidSounds and Eddie Denton smashing it.

The result was clear, controlled coverage across the whole stage.

Out on a Bloomberg shoot in country Vic, made a new mate.

Winston wasn’t part of the crew but got himself pretty involved. Clean sound and a horse who thought the boom pole was his snack. Sound recordist or horse whisperer?

The Schoeps CCM41 : Not the cheapest mic in the Pelican and for good reason. The CCM41 nails off axis rejection and always sounds amazing, even in tough environments.

We’ve used these on high end interviews, run-and-gun docos, car rigs, reality and they always hold up. Light, compact, sexy.

That’s a wrap on AO 2025. Another Aus Open in the bag. Big matches, massive crowds and action. Behind the scenes, Mike was on the faders making sure the big screens sounded as sharp as the action on the court. Every point, every player, every crowd roar - loud and clear.
