Pelicans can be in big numbers especially when central and western NSW in drought.
Magpie Geese seasonal and if conditions are right will breed, last summer the least number I have seen in 10 years in Forbes.

White-breasted Woodswallows, nomadic birds, can usually find a few around the Lake some years they are in big numbers.
Fairy Martins usually here between September to April for breeding. The only Australian birds to build a mud bottle nest.
Noisy Miner very common and very noisy.

Three species that are not regular to the lake. Blacks Swans I have only sighted four times in ten years, Cattle Egrets only once in ten years, whereas the Black-winged Stilts are a little more common.
