I’m a photographer, a hairdresser, and I also design and make clothes! My Story:
I experienced an ischemic stroke that progressed to a hemorrhagic one and nearly died. I am extremely thankful that I made it through and am now pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a photographer and hairdresser! I gave up my dream job to get married and start a family (twice), and now I am a stay-at-home mum to t
hree boys. No one can stop me now, though, and I am doing everything in my power to fulfil my dream since I was 14 years old. I have a Certificate in Hairdressing and Certificate in Belco Hairdressing (to cover what you learn in a Cert III), Disability Work and Pharmacy. So I have been in all trades! My stroke caused me to develop aphasia. My words do not come out, and I cannot talk as much as I used to. I occasionally struggle with consistency, and stress exacerbates the issue. Therefore, I kindly request your patience. Because brain trauma never goes away, I will never be "better" as many have claimed I will be, and I will never be able to move past it. My page will not tolerate any abuse of any kind. So be nice :)
If you know anyone who has survived a stroke, they will realise how much energy what I am doing requires. I therefore complete my classes at home since I am unable to complete an apprenticeship. I must take naps when I feel like it, for the trauma of my brain. Therefore, if I do not reply, it is because my hands or the right side of my body are having problems or i can not function today. Additionally, any earnings from photography and hairdressing will be used to pay for my classes or the makeup for my salon. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who waited years for my pictures after my stroke. Many people would not go to the lengths you did, comprehend, and be sympathetic. I truly appreciate you. Many thanks, x
