The number has gone up to 37 new Humpback Whales to Happywhale 🐋

How good is this 37 of my submission’s to Happywhale have been determined as new to Happywhale. That means I am the first to ever record these Humpback Whales and my image will be used to identify each individual.
All the images were taken on the Central Coast of NSW .
Images were taken in conjunction with Terrigal Ocean Tours .

The beautiful Diamond Firetail is definitely one of my favourite finches just look at those colours.
I was fortunate enough to have access to a private property in the Upper Hunter Valley where a small flock (6) of Diamonds were feeding over winter.
These pics were taken a few months ago when it was quite dry out there.

Rarely Seen Behaviour

This Humpback Whale had just slammed its mouth shut forcefully expelling a spectacular wall of water and produce an audible popping sound .
This unusual mouth opening behaviour was observed recently off Terrigal NSW onboard Terrigal Ocean Tours .

I’m a little overwhelmed with this image as I never thought I would capture anything like this just off Terrigal NSW .

This image shows the Humpback Whales mouth wide open with its baleen clearly visible.
The image was taken on 1pm trip on Sunday 23/8/26 onboard Terrigal Ocean Tours .
