Incredibly proud to have received a third place for my photograph of Tilly, my eldest daughter, in the Legacy Photography Awards, senior category.

It captures a brief moment of peace in the wake of my mother’s passing, a moment on the lawns in the warm European evening sun, that allowed us to feel almost at ease, almost like ourselves. A fleeting feeling, but we felt it nonetheless 🤍

It’s been quiet here lately…

I have just returned home after a lengthy trip to Sweden after losing my beautiful mum. A loss that I’ve felt deeply and that’s put me into sheer survival mode. I miss her with all my heart and I feel more than a little lost without her.

Feeling inspired to pick up my camera has not been easy. I have needed a lot of space to think, to grieve, to be alone. I had a brief moment of inspiration during my trip when I posed my daughter on some steps in front of a beautiful old castle. I feel that her facial expression in this photo became a representation of how we all felt at the time. My deepest thanks to Legacy Photography Awards for receiving this image and the story behind it with such compassion and kindness and for inspiring me to keep going with my photography.

I will slowly ease my way back into everyday life and I know there will be plenty of reasons to pick up that camera again.. spring is just around the corner, Halloween is coming, Christmas will be here before we know it. Mum would have wanted me to keep doing what I love ❤️

The sweetest session with baby Lucian and proud new parents Olivia and Brody 🤎

There's something truly magical about this season of life, filled with tender firsts, love, fear, wonder, uncertainty and joy, all because of this tiny human that arrives and turns our world upside down.

It was heartwarming to see just how deeply this couple adores their precious baby boy - he's the center of their universe, and capturing this little family's bond was an absolute pleasure. Wishing Olivia and Brody all the best as they embark on their exciting journey of parenthood!

I was fortunate to get to visit the Heritage Alpaca Co in Buckley recently, and what a unique and amazing place this is! Ron and Rochelle are dedicated to breeding exceptional alpacas, some of them shown and prize winning for their fleece and conformation. They run their beautiful farm with passion and purpose and I loved learning more about these gentle animals and the work that goes into the breeding program.

Do yourselves a favour and book a tour at this wonderful place, and get close to the amazing alpacas while learning more about them. There is also a shop at the farm where you can purchase clothing and other items made from alpaca wool. Such a wholesome activity and perfect for the school holidays. Link to the website below.

A beautiful , super casual session with Kelly and her family at her stunning farm with views of the You Yangs 😍 I love a session that goes a bit like “Who wants to jump in for a photo?”, with no pressure and just fun. What was clear from the start was how much Kelly adores her grandkids, and how much they love her back ♥️ What a fantastic place for them to spend their childhood, surrounded by love and the cutest animals!

Because who wouldn’t want to have cuddles and photos with the world’s most adorable donkeys? Lucky to get to visit Kelly...

Because who wouldn’t want to have cuddles and photos with the world’s most adorable donkeys? Lucky to get to visit Kelly at Neigh Worries Equine Assisted Learning and borrow these two cuties for a few photos. We fell head over heels in love with them and didn’t want to leave! Such gentle souls ♥️
