I'm so glad to have the camera out again! I've been busy moving house, the laptop died and when I finally get a new one, I have to wait 3 weeks for internet before I can even start editing. Well this afternoon it finally all fell into place *sigh* I think it was worth it all. Here's to more awesome autumn sunrises if they deliver like this one from last weekend 💛❤️💛

First light this morning started with Mother Nature feeling a little moody. Don't worry as she quickly brightened up ☀️

Come to think about it, this photo reflects the year I've just had. I've been quiet on the photography front as my day job has been incredibly stressful and that threw the rest of my life off balance. And when that happens, then you begin to forfeit the simple pleasures such as peaceful beautiful sunrises. Well, that is the past and I promise to step up again. 💙

This evening I ventured to a popular Milky Way location and was incredibly lucky to have it all to myself. It was extremely still which made perfect conditions for Astro photography. I counted myself extremely lucky as it has been windy all day. As soon as I left, the winds increased again. All I can say is - my lucky stars!! ✨
