I had a blast at Bitchcon yesterday. I met so many lovely founders like IQM Store and many more.

Community is so important and I'm looking forward to connecting with more of you. My most vital takeaway from the event is the extra push I need to put myself in front of the lens more instead of hiding behind the scenes. Also just f*cking do it (me to every boring dividend task on my list). This post is step one! Let's gooooo 🔥🔥

I've been working with Wenee Yap, co-author of Riding the Unicorn and Director of AI Literacy at 43 Degrees Below. She spoke with The Auckland Post about women getting only 2.9% of VC funding in NZ despite often outperforming male led companies, how the startup world has changed and how she has experienced working across law, tech and startups over the years.

The article also touches on how to approach working with AI and how not to. It's a great piece available via The Post and Wenee is speaking at Law Fest this week.

Entrepreneur, cat-lover and Sumo champion Wenee Yap has started many businesses, and her latest one works with legal firms to help them use AI to augment their human talent, rather than ditch them for machines.

I recently had come into Be Your Potential to update my branding as my website was still showing images from 2018 and 2020. 🫣 It's been a long time since those images represented the Be Your Potential experience, so I was definitely needing this update.

She did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable in front of the camera, managed to hear all my ideas and captured those images brilliantly. I highly recommend her services.
