I moved to Australia from New Zealand a few years ago with $500 and no plan. Just cameras, a love of cars, and a feeling that something was possible here if I worked hard enough at it.

I’m not a developer. Not a businessman. The opposite actually, an ex tradie who’s on a mission the live the dream

And somewhere along the way I fell in love with the idea of a space where the cars are the culture. A content studio. A members lounge. Somewhere you can bring your car and actually shoot it properly.

I grew up watching Tokyo Drift wanting a place like this to exist.

So between me, Benzina Stables and Pat we are doing just that.

Trying to get back into the car edits. Haven’t done a car shoot in over 3 months due to being so busy with other things, so dove into the archives and found a bunch of unfinished and unedited work!

Steal this shot.

Just the right setup and you can get cinematic POV footage from your bike at speed.

Here is exactly how we did it.

Camera setup
∙ DJI Osmo Nano mounted to the bike frame
∙ SmallRig magic arm and clamp
∙ Strong enough to hold at speed with zero movement

Audio setup
∙ DJI Mic 2 in your backpack pocket
∙ Wind fluffy on before it goes in
∙ Empty pocket so the bag adds a second layer of wind protection
∙ Internal recording in 32 bit float to stop any peaking at speed

That’s it. Two pieces of gear. One clean setup.

Edited using my node tree in DaVinci Resolve.

Good angles + good movement + a clean grade. That’s it.

Edit breakdown!

Camera: IPhone 17 Pro Max

Record Settings: ProRes Log 4K 60fps

Grade breakdown:
- convert footage from log to Rec709 with our node tree
- colour adjustments
- apply LUT
- add effects [I used a mask and a bit of glow]
- export!

Sunset chasing……

Might aswell finally post my bike 😅

For everyone asking here is my CFMOTO 450SR-S Aspar Edition

66 Aspar Editions were built and they got a few extra goodies compared the factory SRS.

What are your thoughts on CFMOTO?
For me as a car guy turning into bikes I didn’t feel as I was brand loyal so I picked what was best bang for buck.

+ it looks hella good with the single sided swing arm.

All shot on my LUMIX Australia S1ii with a K&F CONCEPT ND/CPL. Edited on Lightroom with our presets.
