Board under the arm, and that quiet feeling that only comes after being out in the ocean at sunrise.

I wonder if he is thinking, "Just one more?"

Butter cream mornings and soft rolling waves.
The kind of light that feels gentle before the day fully begins.

There’s something calming about these muted coastal tones. Autumn sea spray, soft textures and layers of light moving across the ocean.

Fine art coastal photography inspired by atmosphere, softness and the spaces between land, water and light.

A little late posting this one, but some moments are still worth sharing.

The setting moon from the morning of May 4th, hanging quietly just before sunrise. Soft light, clear skies, and that familiar stillness that comes before the day properly begins.

Captured handheld and cropped in close. Proof that sometimes you just work with the moment you’re given.

Not every photograph needs perfect conditions or a full setup. Sometimes it’s simply about looking up at the right time.

Before the city properly wakes up, Merewether feels softer.

Pink skies drifting over the headland, salt hanging in the air, and surfers quietly making their way into the morning.

There’s something about these slower sunrises that never really gets old.

No rush.

Just light, water and the familiar rhythm of the coast.
