Yesterday I showed my version of Horsehead Rock at sunrise. Today I'm showing Karen's version of Horsehead. Her version was taken as the sunrose and shows amazing golden hour light on the horses face. She also captured sunlit waves breaking around its mouth. Its pretty awesome having two versions of the same subject, as we both see things slightly differently.

Today, we got up at 3.50am for a 1 hour 20 min drive to Horse Head Rock, Wallaga Lakes for sunrise. After climbing over the rocks earlier in the week, I was definitely a bit twitchy about doing this again in the dark. We needed a perfect sunrise, low tide and a minimum swell. The drive to the spot was like a computer game, we played dodge the roo, all of the way up the coast, not something I want to do again 😂 But finally after scrambling over the rocks in the dark, we hit the jackpot and got the shot we had envisioned. Hope you like it 😀
