Boggo Road, Buranda and South Bank passengers! This one is for you!

Boggo Road has recieved platform changes with Platform 1, 2, 3 and 4 now being renumbered 8, 7, 6 and 5. The existing Busway Platforms have been renumbered from 5 and 6 to 3 and 4.

Buranda Busway has been renumbered from 1 and 2 to 3 and 4. No changes to the railway system has been implemented.

South Bank railway station remains unchanged while Platforms 1 and 2 of the Busway have been renumbered 4 and 5.

This is due to some unionisation (NOT transport unions) of platforms to join Busway stations onto existing Rail stations for ease of access via Transport Planning apps.

To make a breakthrough in available information, RTQ has adopted a new pet photocopier and has been busy capturing these historical relics in full HD.

Up first we have the Working Timetable from September in 1980 for the North Coast Line covering many lost and forgotten branch railways including Tirroan, Proston and Monto Lines.

Station upgrades - Burpengary station

During 2024, Burpengary statioon closed to the public for a majot accessibility upgrade.

Works included full length raised platforms, improved station access & removal of the old timber footbridge for a new concrete lift shaft.

Station Upgrades - Banyo

Over thr course of 2024/2025, Banyo station recieved an accessibility upgrade including raised platforms, shelters and a new overbridge with lift access.
