Things fell silent here, in part because of that which shall not be mentioned spoiling a lot of fun, and I got a new day job.
But that new day job is reviving the locals only Guide and Expo!

We are putting together The Hunter River Times Wedding Guide!

At The Hunter River Times we are so passionate about our community we are making more work for ourselves by making a whole other publication!
The Guide will be an A5 glossy magazine featuring local businesses from the Muswellbrook, Upper Hunter and Singleton LGAs in a bid to promote local.
Advertisers in the Guide will also have the option of taking part in The Hunter River Times Wedding Expo next month, how exciting!

We are just one of the many event industry businesses that will suffer because of the current pandemic.
All the events being cancelled, and planning postponed, makes it hard for us to know what will happen when we finally get through it.

The uncertainty is the worst part, noone knows when it will be safe to return to our normal routines and lifestyle.

When we do get the all clear there is one thing you can do to help your local economy - support local.
When you book a local business to be a part of your celebration that money will stay in the area.
We are able to eat at local cafes, shop locally and support businesses that employ locals.
