Colour is how we see the world. Black and white? That’s how we get to feel the world. As much as I love vibrant colours, you don’t need color when the feeling is this loud.

From the chaos of the confetti and the puppy cuddles to the quiet cinematic moments hidden under the veil… when you strip the noise away, what’s left is pure connection. And the best part of my job is watching that… watching a couple be so present with one another that the only things left are light, shadow and two people melting into their celebration.

Sarah and Ed got engaged on their tinny on the water during an 11 month trip around Australia. Since water is such a central element to who they are, we had to have their engagement session by the water!

And since they are such adventurous people, we had to capture Ed’s legendary party trick on camera so they have that memory forever!

Proof that the best photos are born from natural motion and laughter ✨

We were actively hoping to avoid the weather… however, when a sudden downpour hit, we decided to lean into it. We scrambled to do a quick lift before the rain stopped (spoiler: it literally lasted about 30 seconds)... talk about Notebookmaxxing 🌧️ Even the raindrops and fog on the lens made for a truly unrepeatable image…

It’s giving pastel colors, it’s giving unique, it’s giving Bella & Lachie 💅

I always tell my couples that comfort creates the best photos (it’s almost like my philosophy, I suppose). This shoot is the perfect example of why. When you feel comfortable enough to drop your guard and be yourselves, that genuine energy radiates through the lens. You can’t fake this kind of magic.

How can we personalise your photos easily and naturally? Props that have meaning for you!

Tia & Dan had the most phenomenal trip to Japan. Naturally, I was excited to incorporate the trip with a bit of symbolism + parallelism… and make it cute, elevated, cute 💅

On your wedding day, one of your wedding party can be responsible for keeping the props safe until it’s time for portraits then we can totally include them. Whether that’s a cowboy hat, a bowling ball or art, we will have a lot of fun with it using actions (like putting the crane into the pocket) and get you images that are as unique as you are.
