Newcastle is blessed to have a number of ocean baths. Growing up in Newcastle, I have many fond childhood memories of these areas.
Most of these images are of the Bogey Hole. Built in 1820 by convicts, carving into the conglomerate rock shelf at the base of a cliff. The ocean pool is heritage listed.

A recent trip to Kiama with some fellow local photographers. We spent an amazing couple of days with the awesome landscape photographer Will Patino.
The weather wasn't really in our favour, giving us beautiful light but, it was fun and a place I'd definitely return to.

Out for an early sunrise Whale Watch. What started as a very uneventful cruise ended with quite a bit of activity, thankfully. Many thanks to the Skipper, Craig from Port Jet Cruise Adventures, for his effort in getting us to them. I always enjoy the company of local photographers Unearthed by Matt and Helen T Photography.

UPDATE: info indicates this was a Rocket launched from North-Western China and not a Meteor as many had thought.

We headed out for a bit of Milky Way this evening. Caught some slight Aurora diffuse and then this Meteor made an appearance
