On Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of capturing a proposal at Mayfield Garden 🍁

James and I had been chatting all week, trying to pick the perfect spot. I even went for a little scout and sent through a few options, but honestly, he could have picked anywhere. The whole garden is just stunning.

When the moment came, in amongst the most vibrant colours, James professed his love to Rien, then got down on one knee and pulled out the most incredible pear-shaped ring 💍

And Rien’s reaction was everything. The most bubbly, infectious energy, she started jumping up and down straight away and I swear didn’t stop for about 20 minutes after😍 just pure excitement and happiness.

Of course, she said yes.

Being a part of their moment made me so grateful to do what I do ✨
