“Why do wedding photographers cost so much?” The number one question I get asked.

There is so much involved in wedding photography and to answer your question, here is what my packages cover:
1. Taking all of your images on the day - depending on the package you select there can be well over 1000 photos.
2. Culling photos including double ups, unflattering photos, bad lighting, people blinking, etc.
3. Editing the remaining photos - the general rule of thumb is for every hour of photos shot it can take about 3 hours to edit.
4. Communications before, during and after your big day to sort through details to ensure everything runs smoothly.
5. Helping you out on the day, keeping you calm in emotional moments, grabbing any last minute things and adjusting small details.
6. I carry an emergency kit including bandaids, bobby pins for an hair fall outs, adjusting the veil, safety pins, etc.
7. Following your timeline and working with vendors to ensure people are where they’re supposed to be, making sure I’m there and everyone is ready for all the big moments and running around into the best positions to capture these.
8. The time it takes me to cover your day also means time spent away from my family.
9. Covering the costs of my equipment, software and programmes.

These are just some of the things your money goes towards to ensure capturing your big day for you to have forever memories to look back on.
