Throwback to May 2022, when a routine night dive turned into one of my most memorable underwater encounters. An inquisitive octopus decided my strobe made the perfect perch before taking a playful swing on my fibre optic cords. After satisfying its curiosity, it gracefully disappeared back into the darkness. Moments like these are a reminder of just how intelligent and captivating our ocean wildlife can be. Still one of the best interactions I’ve ever had underwater.

Today, we celebrate the beauty, power, and importance of our oceans. From the crashing waves to the tiniest coral creatures, the ocean is a source of life, wonder, and inspiration.

These are some of my favourite ocean moments — captured through my lens, and etched in memory. Whether diving beneath the surface or walking along the shore, the ocean always reminds us to breathe deeper, slow down, and protect what matters.

Let’s keep our oceans clean, thriving, and full of life — not just for us, but for future generations. 💙

Two seahorses intertwined beneath the waves — a quiet reminder of connection, balance, and the beauty hidden within the ocean. 🌊✨
Often seen drifting together through seagrass beds and coral, these tiny marine creatures move with incredible grace, creating moments underwater that feel almost surreal. Capturing both of them together made this encounter even more special. 💙🐠
