The Unsung Heroes.

When the dust flies and things get western, these are the blokes who step in without hesitation.

A huge shout out to Blake Piney, Chopper and Brett Taylor, the protection athletes who kept a watchful eye on the action all weekend at the Mullewa Muster & Rodeo. While the crowd focuses on the riders, these legends are focused on keeping both competitors and livestock safe when things don’t go to plan.

Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear baggies, suspenders and a cowboy hat.

The first gallery is now ready and available to view.

This gallery focuses on the atmosphere and stories that happen away from the arena, featuring behind-the-chutes moments, life around the grounds, market vendors, entertainment, live music, spectators, and many of the moments that helped make the weekend what it was.

While there are a handful of rodeo action shots included, the majority of competitor action images are still to come.

The dust has settled, but we're not finished yet.

We've just wrapped up a 30-second recap showcasing some of the biggest moments, toughest rides, and unforgettable action from the arena. If you haven't seen it yet, jump over and check it out.

📸 The photo galleries are now in the final stages of editing and won't be too far away. There are thousands of images to work through, but we're making good progress and can't wait to share them with everyone.

A huge thank you to the competitors, volunteers, sponsors, and spectators who helped make this event one to remember. Despite the weather doing its best to test everyone, the spirit of the rodeo community shone through.

Who attended the Mullewa Muster & Rodeo and somehow managed to stay dry?

We certainly didn’t !

The rain rolled through, the cameras got soaked, the crowd pulled on their jackets, and the party kept going.

We’re back home now with the gear cleaned, dried, and the photos safely downloaded. The editing has officially begun.

Here’s a small sneak peek at just how wet the weekend became, both in front of the stage and out in the crowd. If you were there, there’s a good chance you’ll spot yourself in the galleries.
