ST. SIMONS ISLAND LIGHTHOUSE... two views. The museum in the first image was originnly the "lightkeepers cottage."

NOTE TO ARTISTS/PHOTOGRAPHERS: Facebook allows your full image to be viewed, while INSTAGRAM forces it into a square shape.😞I'm not happy about that... completely changes the composition and "aspect ratio" which are important aspects of the artwork.

Another view of an old image: I took this photo 20+ years ago, and always envisioned it in black-and-white (in square format). I just found the original film negative... rescanned it at hi-resoution and used AI sharpening software to "clean it up." I now think the color version is more striking! Memorial Day service at the “Museum of the Mighty 8th Air Force” — Pooler, GA. There were 26,000 flags on display… one for each soldier from the Mighty 8th who died in WW II.
