We specialize in premium pet and portraiture, blending natural lighting with authentic storytelling to capture your legacy. It all started when my mom gifted me a simple point and shoot canon powershot. I was just a tour guide taking underwater photos for tourists at the time and it was a sad day, on one of my underwater adventure my camera cease to work. Since then I started under the tutorage of

Paul Orchard back in 2010, and slowly mastered the art of pressing a button. What started out as a hobby has since grown into a passion of mine. From landscapes to animals and people, I find beauty in all things. I have now learned there is no mastering this evolving art form and I strive to keep up with this exciting world. My goal is to not just merely take a photo, but to create visually stunning art. I have just started this journey and look forward to the places it will take me. This closes out our first round of competition dog portraits, and the vertical shots from this set are some of our favorites we have taken all year. Every dog walked in with the same confidence they bring to the ring, and it shows.

Our competition dog pop up was one of our favorite shoots this year, and it's already got us thinking ahead.

We're planning a year end session built specifically for the dog sports community. The idea is simple: bring in the dogs who competed this year and give their wins a portrait worthy of the effort behind them. Titles, ribbons, personal bests, whatever the season brought.

Every dog on this list has put in the work. Early mornings, hours of training, the kind of discipline most people never see.

We wanted their portraits to reflect that. Black backgrounds, dramatic light, and a color halo that makes each dog look exactly as bold as they are in the ring.

This is the start of our competition dog portrait collection, and we built it because these dogs deserve more than a quick phone photo after a run. They deserve something timeless.

Calling all sporting dog handlers. We're hosting a free pop up mini session and we need models. 🐾

This year we had the honor of photographing Prince, a Dachshund who placed Top 10 in the nation for obedience in 2025. We're building out our competition dog portrait collection, and we want to feature more dogs like him, driven, talented, and proud of the work they put in.

With this heat wave, we know outdoor sessions are rough on dogs and handlers alike. Good news: our barn location has AC, so you and your competitor can stay cool and comfortable the whole time.

This pop up is completely free to sign up for. If your dog competes in obedience, agility, scent work, or any sporting discipline, we want to see you out there. Spots are limited and this is going out last minute, so don't wait to grab yours!

Senior year moves fast. One minute they're starting high school, the next they're picking out a cap and gown.

We just wrapped our first senior spotlight of the season with Brylee and her golden retriever, Penelope, who has been right there with her since long before graduation was on the horizon. We spent a beautiful overcast afternoon at the Lake Michigan Lakeshore, and the photos turned out to be exactly the kind of keepsake a family holds onto for years.

There are moments in photography when everything aligns: the light, the energy, the person in front of your lens. We caught Lindsay at one of those moments. Dancing through the Fenville Poppy Field as the sunset was at its brightest, most golden. She moved through those flowers like she was part of the landscape itself ✨

This shoot reminded us why we love what we do. It's not just about the technical skill. It's about capturing the spirit of a person: the joy, the confidence, the creative energy that makes them who they are.

250 years. Let that sink in for a second.

We wanted to mark today with a photo of our good friend and fellow photographer, Amber, in a white dress, sitting in a field of red and blue blooms with white daisies woven throughout. It felt fitting for a birthday this big.

Grand Rapids has been good to us, and moments like this remind us why we love calling West Michigan home. Grateful for the community, the friends who've become family, and 250 years worth of freedom to celebrate.

When you're photographing at golden hour, sometimes the best moments are the ones you weren't supposed to see. We were exploring the Fenville Poppy Field with our dear friends Amber and Tyler, and as we made our way through the wildflowers, we caught them in this stolen embrace. Behind the trees. Soft light pouring through. No one asking them to smile or pose. Just their natural, unguarded connection.
