I was thrilled to join the Digital Future of Work panel in Cairns, hosted by Business Chamber Queenslandand Australian Retirement Trust.

My key takeaway and the audience’s favourite tip was simple:
🎓 Get yourself a State Library of Queensland card. It gives you free access to LinkedIn Learning with thousands of courses to boost your digital and creative skills.

It was great to see so many local businesses eager to keep learning, experimenting and leading in this new digital era.

🎥🧡 Behind every rescue is a great story, and our State Emergency Service - Far Northern Region volunteers are now trained to tell it.

Over the weekend they took part in a hands-on video training course, learning how to capture the teamwork, determination and spirit that make the SES what it is. From setting up shots to editing on the go, they’re ready to show what happens behind the scenes.

These new skills will help our Media Team share the action, the emotion and the moments that matter, celebrating the people who keep Queensland safe. 💪
