As the fog rolls over the Nepean River at Penrith,
it begins to quietly blanket the morning rush below.

Cars stream across the M4 Bridge,
the day already in full motion,
while the sun rises behind the mist,
chasing it gently down the river.

A reminder that even in the busiest moments, peace can still find a way to surround us.

Behind every portrait I take, is a moment where the person, not the profile, comes through.

Some people make their mark on a game.
Others make their mark on the people around them.

It was a privilege to spend some time with two rugby league personalities who have done both, Mark Geyer and Josh Addo-Carr.

Different generations, different journeys, but the same passion for the game and the communities that support it. One a tough-as-nails legend of the sport, the other, one of the most exciting and charismatic players of the modern era.

Behind the headlines, the highlights and the jerseys, are two genuine blokes who never underestimate the impact they can have on others.

A great afternoon, some great conversations, and a chance to capture a few moments that tell a story beyond football.

Legends of the game. Gentlemen off the field.

What an honour to be invited by the Lesday Group of Hotels to photograph such a beautiful fundraiser supporting Jai Arrow’s daughter, Ayla Rae, through a trust fund.

With Jai’s parents, Nicole and Ray, also in attendance, and brilliant support from Mark Geyer (NRL Brand Ambassador for Lesday Group), Josh Addo-Carr and Anthony Maroon, it was a room full of heart, generosity and smiles.

Applause for Mish and her awesome efforts also.

An amazing few hours capturing moments for a very special cause.

Culling images for "Moments Without Borders"
is proving to be one of the hardest parts
of the whole book.

China alone has been incredible to revisit. Shanghai, Yangshuo, Guilin, Chengdu
and so many unforgettable moments in between. The colour, the people, the landscapes,
the streets, the rivers, the food, the light…
what an amazing place.

But what is making this book so special
is how the images from China sit alongside moments from Indonesia, Singapore,
New Zealand, Samoa, New Caledonia, Malaysia, and Australia.

Different countries. Different cultures.
Different landscapes.

Yet somehow, the feeling is the same.

People waking, working, laughing, waiting, travelling, gathering, dreaming,
all under the same sky.

That’s the heart of "Moments Without Borders".

We travel looking for difference,
but so often what we find is sameness.
