I’ve been working with Elizabeth Fairon for years and I’m so proud to help communicate her vision and value with honest presence.

Elizabeth walks the talk. She’s an inspiration and a gem of a human who deserves this nomination.

And how great must it feel to KNOW you have images that match the reputation you’ve built - ready to go at a moments notice!

“That’ll do” isn’t a standard you accept anywhere else in a profession where precision and accuracy is critical. Why accept it for your image? Don’t wait til you’re nominated for an award to go scrambling when you can choose to be ‘media ready’.

Legacy isn’t later.

Let’s talk!

Another exciting moment to celebrate.

We are proud to share that Elizabeth Fairon has been named a finalist in the Legal Services category at the 2026 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards.

This recognition is a wonderful acknowledgement of Elizabeth’s leadership, the care she brings to her work, and the values-led approach she has built across Life Law Solutions.

Elizabeth, we are so proud to see your hard work and commitment recognised on a national stage.

Congratulations, and good luck at the awards!

I’ve started exploring a new dichotomy and this interview is the first time I’ve said it publicly.

I believe we are being poisoned by the current push for “Visibility”. Photographers and ‘personal brand’ types are all talking about being more visible. And I guess that’s interpreted as bigger, bolder… which to me translates as ‘more obvious’.

So most people getting headshots seem to want what I call the ‘Mic Drop’ moments. And we do that (if that’s what you want). But what absolutely blows people away are the ‘Pin Drop’ moments that no one is expecting.

I’m talking about images of such simple, quiet clarity that actually express a thousand times more than a big, ‘nuclear smile’ ever will.

Bigger and bolder and more audacious is a weird race that I’m not interested competing in. But subtle precision… laser-like presence… a quiet, warm wisdom… The pin drop moments. Thats who I love working with. Because that’s what grabs the right people’s attention.

Thanks for having me Richard Triggs!

How do you create a professional image that genuinely feels like you?

In this episode of the Arete Podcast, Richard Triggs sits down with Jason Malouin, founder of Superpower Portraits, to explore personal presence, professional identity and the power of showing up authentically.

Jason shares his journey from live theatre and wilderness guiding to becoming a highly specialised professional photographer in Australia.

The conversation covers why powerful portraits need to communicate more than appearance, how Jason helps people move through discomfort in front of the camera, and his approach to capturing both the “mic drop” and “pin drop” sides of a person.

A fascinating conversation for executives, business owners and professionals stepping into a bigger chapter of their careers.

Back when I was a wilderness guide, I believed that my effort was quite literally contributing to a profound, positive and transformative effect on society… even consciousness as a whole.

When I started out in photography, an amazing mentor in the commercial photography space remarked “well we aren’t saving the world here”.

And I thought. No. That’s not acceptable. I’ve only really done work that I believed was saving the world. In my bones believed it. And I refused to accept that that I couldn’t apply the same standard in this new space.

I don’t have delusions of grandeur. I know I’m not ‘saving the world’. But if I can contribute to making one part of one moment in someone’s world… better. I’d say that’s worth it.
