2026 Oz Day 10K.
This is one of my favourite days on the sporting calendar and an extra bonus of getting to watch one of my all-time favourite athletes in that of Madison De Rozario, be it female, male, para or able bodied. Madison is an amazing athlete and just an outright amazing human.
This year (2026) Madison took out the open women's race for the 12th time, achieving most outright wins, surpassing the legendary Kurt Fearnley in the process.
The men’s winner for the 3rd time in the open category was Sam Rizzo in a blistering time of 00:22:39 and more than two minutes ahead of two-time winner Jake Lappin.
Colombia's Cristian Eduardo Torres Ortiz calmed the men's T51-53 category, while Sarah Clifton-Bligh triumph in the women’s T51-53 category.
Coco Espie is now a three-time winner in the junior women’s category and Lachlan Reid calmed his second title in the junior boy’s
Japan’s Hitoshi Matsunaga took home the men’s master's category and in her first time competing at the Oz Day 10K, Sharnie Digby won the women’s mater’s category.
And huge congrats to every athlete that took to the start line and of course a huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers.
