The intrigue got the better of me, and I’ve had a go at creating my own film recipes at the weekend. These were all shot with TP1 (took me ages to come up with that!).

The recipes spits out a jpeg straight out of the camera, so small adjustments to basic settings and you are done.

Ten frames from Feb Comp.

A bit of camera talk for those interested, I flicked on the in-built 1.6 crop, turning the 100-400mm into a 160-640mm. The downside is reduction in image size to a 9MP, which is enough for minor cropping, and OK quality for social and web viewing. The additional advantages are it’s easier to compose and see in the viewfinder vs cropping after and you also have a smaller file size.
