Meet Hectares n Acres aka “Heck”

Heck is a 2007 bay Stallion owned by Deana Woods, sired by the great Acres Destiny and out of Oaks Song (Docs Freckles Oak).

We snuck this shoot in after Deana and Heck competed in the Ladies Barrel Race at Bundalong Pro Rodeo. Of course he was an absolute pleasure to photograph and if you’ve seen Heck around you’d know he’s a true gentleman!

What an incredible horse, thank you Deana for the opportunity to capture Heck.

My husband and his home bred 3yr old “Woodrow”(Smooth As A Cat x Seconds ta Fame/Acres Destiny mare). It’s been almost 2 years since moving to Victoria and every day I admire the beautiful place we live in, it was good to finally have the camera out to capture some moments where we now call home.
