Hard Spinin Cash is truly a top mare. She did a wonderful job carrying little Levi Oakley through his very first cutting show. Levi had never shown before and was incredibly grateful for the opportunity.

Boyd Leitch had been nominated to ride this exciting mare in the Junior Youth event, but unfortunately the State Championship Athletics Carnival was scheduled for the same weekend. As Sports Captain of his school, Boyd felt it was his responsibility to stay and support his school team. So Hard Spin Cash became available to show in the youth.

Not many people have had the privilege of riding this special mare—only four in total. I have been fortunate enough to be one of them, along with Rachel, Boyd, and now the lucky Levi.

It is always special to see the support within this great sport. Mat is constantly helping non-pro competitors and often helps Rachel and Jason with invaluable help in the pen. It's wonderful to be able to return the favor and help others in the same way.

Congratulations to Levi on a memorable first show and to Hard Spinin Cash for once again proving what a remarkable mare she is. Mat Oakley Performance Horses Stud NCHA Australia

I would like to sincerely thank the National Cutting Horse Association for having me as the Official Photographer for the 2026 Futurity. It was a pleasure to work with such a great team, and I truly feel this year's event was one of the best.

To all the competitors, thank you so much for your support. I genuinely enjoy capturing that special "top shot" for you to take home and remember your achievement.

I understand how much dedication, hard work, and expense goes into this journey. There is so much commitment behind every run, and I know how much we all love our horses. That's why I believe a great photograph is so important—it preserves those moments, memories, and accomplishments that make all the effort worthwhile.

Thank you again to everyone who made the 2026 Futurity such a memorable event. I look forward to seeing you all again down the track.
